Jim Brown Artwork
August 13, 2008 · No Comments
After starting it a month or so ago I finally finished the Jim Brown piece. I had worked on a few other ones while working on this one, but i finally decide it was time to complete it. If your interested in it or any prints of any of my work, let me know. As of now I am only doing very limited artist proofs of my work.

GREG WORKIN ON A BRADY QUINN PIECE
July 24, 2008 · No Comments
I am working on a few Browns pieces as i mentioned. My newest one is of Brady Quinn. It is the first drawing I have ever done of a backup quarterback lol. This is just a LowRez picture of it, but it is getting there. I have more work to put in on it and more color to the arms, and more detail on the face, but it is quickly becoming one of my favorite pieces. Ill post it to the website and on here soon as i finish it, sometime in the next few days. Let me know what you think, and if your interested, I will be making available some prints down the line.

GEORGE’S ETCH FEATURED ON ESPN’S PTI
July 15, 2008 · No Comments
We just got back from Washington and Baltimore which turned out to be a great trip. George did an etch for PTI which aired throughout the show yesterday and will continually be shown throughout different episodes. We got to sit in on the taping of the show, and everyone there was really nice, and just loved all the artwork. Wilbon was great, and George showed him the sneak peak of his latest piece of the Chicago Cubs. He was amazed, and went through naming each player on the etch. Tune in to the show, to catch it on the set, it should be up for a while.

ESPN ZONE 10TH ANNIVERSARY
July 15, 2008 · No Comments
Its hard to believe its been 10 years since ESPN had George do a Cal Ripken Etch, in which they blew it up to 6 feet. But we went to Baltimore again for the festivities. George and Greg were there to display all their newest artwork. The ESPN ZONE etch a sketch t shirts which they sold were a big hit. We still have a very small number left if your interested. The weekend went great and we met a lot of neat people. Check out some new pictures of us in front of the amazing 6 foot etch of Cal. And as you can our display drew quite a crown.

Greg’s Finished Kobe Bryant Artwork
July 9, 2008 · No Comments
You are the first to see my newest piece. I havent even displayed it on the website yet. After not working on it for a few weeks, and starting a few other projects I finally finished the Kobe Bryant piece I had been working on. This piece is a little different in a way because i decided to do it in different pieces and on different colors of paper. I took different sections and then put them together and then inked and drew on top of them. I like the way it turned out and the background definitely stands out. The full size is about 16×22″ and I will be uploading the entire picture to the artwork gallery on my website. Let me know what you think. Its hard to tell but there is a lot of detail and at some point this will be used for the front page on the website I am sure. Maybe the pic of the month when the season starts up.

GREG IS WORKING ON A JIM BROWN, OLD SCHOOL PIECE
July 1, 2008 · No Comments
I am going to be doing a few Browns pieces coming up, so I decided to start out with the greatest Brown of all time, Jim Brown. It was tough to find any clear photos of him, and I wanted to do a picture of him that I havent seen anywhere else. I just started it about 2 days ago and it has a ways to go. You can see how I build up the color pencil adding greens and reds and purples, until they begin to look like a skin tone. To be honest this photo of the piece does not look that great, but once I add a lot more detail and keep building up I am excited to show you the finished artwork. Keep in mind it is just a digital photo. Also I decided to combine some different mediums and I used some pastels on this work, something I havent done to much of lately. Let me know what you think, and I am looking forward to showing the finished piece.

08 CUBS ETCH A SKETCH FROM START TO FINISH
June 30, 2008 · 2 Comments
George is working on a Chicago Cubs Etch a Sketch. We will show the entire process in many different stages from the very beginning sketch to the finished artwork. Usually they take 70-80 hours, but this new piece will break the 100 hour barrier. We will be posting a new picture each day to keep you up to date with George’s progress on the etch. Also, be listening for a Cubs, original song to go along with the etch, possibly another fit for a slightly different etch YouTube video. What do you think? Click on each thumbnail to see each stage larger.

KOBE PIECE IN PROGRESS
June 20, 2008 · 1 Comment
I started a Kobe Bryant ink and color pencil piece about a month ago. Here is a quick picture of it in progress. It is about 75 percent complete. I have to add more detail to the face and still color the background. For some reason I like to work on multiple pieces at a time so I have a few projects going right now. Let me know what you think and check back in a week or so to see the completed artwork.
